Dear Lew:
Rich and I would like to thank you for the wonderful job you did on our
long-planned-for addition with a brand new kitchen, family room, powder
room and foyer. This was our first experience with a large home
improvement project and while doing our research as we planned our addition,
we read about and were told by other people about some horrible
experiences that others had. Fortunately, we did not have to endure any
problems with you!
From the start, you were friendly, helpful and
professional. You assisted us with our plans, giving us guidance and good
ideas. During the planning phase, we looked forward to our weekly meetings
with you - and you never once missed a meeting and you always showed up on
time. You were very patient with us as "newbies" - allowing us
to ask lots of questions (some of them many times - ha-ha!), helping us to
keep on budget, and you made us feel comfortable about what was a huge
undertaking for us.
The written schedule you gave us was wonderful.
We always knew what to expect as the project progressed and we always knew
when a payment was due well ahead of time.
Before our project, we really didn't know
or appreciate what a "contractor" did - we just thought of a
contracting service as someone who did building and renovations. Not only
did you do the actual work, you did all the phone calls, scheduling and
problem handling as well. We never realized how much work goes into a
building project until we got to experience it first hand. Everyone and
all supplies involved showed up on time and were there when needed -
excavation, block work, trusses, insulation, roofing, siding, electrical
work, kitchen cabinets, countertop, plumbing, etc. etc. etc. It was
amazing! And then you did some extras for us - the windowsills, the
"rosettes" around the ceiling lights, the textured ceilings, the
garbage disposal, the doors (including the sliding glass door project) -
you definitely went above and beyond in many ways. THANK YOU!
We have only good things to say about your
company and have told all our friends, neighbors and family about our
wonderful experience with Fowler Contracting Services. Oh, and one thing
that we always mention when talking about our project and you is that you
showed up every day and always on time! You never missed a day during the
entire project and it was done ON TIME and most importantly - ON BUDGET!
